Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995

Say hello to the best summer adventure ever! Our campers and CITs get outdoors, adventure in nature, and create friendships, memories, and community. Located just outside Flagstaff (with bus transportation to/from Phoenix), St. Joseph’s Youth Camp is a non-denominational, 501(c)3 nonprofit camp that’s celebrating our 75th summer in 2024! Nestled in the Coconino National Forest, our rustic overnight camp offers a refreshing change from Arizona’s hot summers.
Our traditional camper weeks are the heart of our St. Joe’s programs. During their 7-day, 6-night stay, campers ages 7 to 12 will make the best of friends while participating in various fun, traditional camp activities, including horseback riding, archery, and kayaking. Campers continue to learn and grow, exploring STEAM topics, outdoor education, and social-emotional development. While your camper is having the time of their lives, have the peace of mind that they are being cared for like family.
Activities include: Horseback Riding, Kayaking, Hiking, Archery, Shelter Building, Campfire & S’more, Astonomy, Capture the Flag, Volleyball, Arts & Crafts, and so much more!

The Teen Week program is a one-week (7 days, 6 nights) experience for teens ages 13 to 15. During Teen Week, teens participate in various fun, traditional camp activities, including horseback riding, archery, kayaking, and high ropes courses. Our Teen Week campers get a next-level camp experience, with special activities and programs. As part of the St. Joe’s family, they’ll build friendships and memories while beginning to explore leadership and personal development topics. When they come home, we’re sure they’ll already be planning for their next summer!
Activities include: Horseback Riding, Kayaking, Hiking, Archery, High Ropes Courses, Ziplining, Shelter Building, Campfire & S’more, Astonomy, Capture the Flag, Volleyball, Arts & Crafts, Science Exploration, Leadership Activities and so much more!

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is a one-week (7 days, 6 nights) experience for teens ages 15 to 17. This long-running program allows counselors to participate in personal development activities and discussions to give them skills in communication, leadership, greater good, positivity, and inclusion. With these skills, they will be ready to be leaders at camp and in their day-to-day lives. If selected, counselors will be asked to return for the camper weeks to put their skills into action (and earn community service hours). No additional fees for the weeks they return to serve as a counselor! Opportunity to earn nearly 96 community service hours for each week they return as a counselor for any of the other summer camp weeks.
Activities include: CPR/First Aid/AED certification, personal development training and activities, and various camp activities (hiking, campfires, etc.)
