Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995

National Track & Field Coach of the Year, Jack Hoyt, Olympic Hurdler and 2023 Indoor National Assistant Coach of the Year, Andrea Blackett, and Long Jump World Record Holder and World Champion, Mike Powell, head up the Nike Track & Field Camp at Azusa Pacific University, that teaches specific techniques for sprints, hurdles, and jumps. Special attention will be placed on speed, strength, and power development.
This camp provides opportunities for athletes (ages 12 – 18) to be coached by world class technicians in sprinting, hurdling, and jumping events. Each day will begin with all campers completing a dynamic warmup followed by speed and sprint mechanics training. Campers will then split into groups for specified event training. Day 4 will consist of speed power tests, hurdles, sprints, jumps, and relay, depending on campers event choice. Campers can choose to be trained in any single jumping event (i.e., LJ, TJ, HJ) or all three.
Hosted at Azusa Pacific University, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches & athletes in track & field to improve your T&F performance.
