Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Montana Conservation Corps Youth Expeditions provide summer conservation experiences for Montana high school students aged 14 to 18. These programs take place in various locations including Bozeman, Helena, and Kalispell and involve hands-on projects such as trail work and habitat restoration. The curriculum emphasizes leadership and community, and expeditions last from 3 to 11 days, with camping and outdoor adventure integral to the experience. Technology is restricted to foster group cohesion and safety is ensured through GPS and leader communication devices. Besides gaining leadership and technical skills, participants earn service hours and awards as recognition for their efforts to protect and enhance Montana’s natural spaces.
