Experience the joy of horseback riding at the MD Horseback Riding Camp, designed for youth ages 9 through 15 of all skill levels. The camp is offered during select summer weeks, including weeks 1 through 3, 5 through 7, and 9 through 11, featuring an exciting overnight stay every Thursday. Participants are grouped by age and skill to enhance learning effectiveness. Instruction covers a range of horseback riding fundamentals, including grooming, tacking, and horsemanship, with practice both in rodeo arenas and scenic trails. Optional farm lunches are available for an added fee, and convenient transportation is provided to and from the Calleva Farm venue.
