Jr. Vets Club at Pasadena Humane

Designed especially for kids aged 7 to 10, the Jr. Vets Club at Pasadena Humane offers an exciting four-week educational experience for young animal lovers. The $350 program convenes twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., immersing participants in themes such as veterinary care, wildlife conservation, and animal behavior. Through creative play, crafts, and practical projects, children develop a deeper understanding of animal care and potential career paths in animal-related fields. While the curriculum often includes direct animal interactions, activities adapt to the shelter’s current resident animals and needs. Limited to 14 children per session with a scholarship option, the club promises a personalized and impactful learning environment. Sessions for are scheduled from late August to mid-September and from the end of September through October at Pasadena Humane.
