Explorations in Health Careers Summer Camp

Designed for students entering grades 10 through 12, the Explorations in Health Careers summer camp guides participants through the exciting fields within health sciences. Hosted at Oakland University on campus in an advanced facility equipped with clinical, computer, simulation, and media labs, campers engage in interactive and practical health-related activities. The camp emphasizes leadership development in areas such as responsibility and communication while exposing students to a wide range of health career paths across four major health science departments. The sessions address careers from physical therapy to public health to physician assistant roles, providing insight that aligns with students’ interests in sciences and health.
