On the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Echo Hill is a traditional outdoor sleep-away camp, complete with rustic living, campfires, water and land sports, and a chance to unplug from cell phones, TV and all electronics. Our ACC Accedited camp is dedicated to helping kids 7-16 have a happy, exciting and meaningful experience while they build self-confidence and gain respect for themselves and others in a safe and nurturing environment.  

The imagination and creativity of the children and staff are the only limits to the variety of the program. We offer a wide range of traditional activities which are taught based on each child’s health, safety and individual needs.

Echo Hill takes great pride in its waterfront.
A wide variety of aquatic activity is enjoyed where our sandy beach slopes gradually into the Chesapeake Bay. Our waterfront activities include Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Kneeboarding, Sailing, Tubing, Crabbing, Fishing, Ocean Kayaks, Swimming, Water Basketball, Bellyboarding, Boat Rides, Swamp Mucks and Beach Hikes. The waterfront and all of its activities are run safely under the constant supervision of our Waterfront Directors, Water Safety Instructors, USCG licensed motor boat captains and/or Maryland Safe Boaters License, USA Waterski Members and US Sailing Instructors.

Landsports
We have many options for those campers who enjoy activities on the land. Ultimate frisbee, basketball, soccer, gaga, lacrosse, volleyball, kickball, badminton, frisbee golf, wiffle ball, tennis and tenball (tennis softball!) are some of the many sports we offer. All land sports are geared towards each individual group in attendance. No child is forced to participate in any athletic activity. Check out our Advenure Course!
