Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
At Club SciKidz, the Junior Veterinary Medicine camp provides children in grades 1-3 a fun and educational introduction to veterinary science. Campers engage in around twenty hands-on projects, such as assembling a first aid kit, studying animal anatomy, carrying out physical exams, and learning to use a real stethoscope. They leave camp equipped with a medical kit, a stethoscope, first aid materials, and a themed coloring book. Occasionally, veterinary professionals are invited to speak, offering real-world insights. The camp runs weekdays from 9am to 4pm with optional extended care starting at 8am and ending at 5:30pm for an extra charge. Younger campers (Pre-K to Kindergarten) can join a half-day session from 9am to 1pm. The program prioritizes camper health by implementing hydration and sun safety measures, with required parental consent for sunscreen application. Club SciKidz offers numerous camps to handle busy summer schedules, making it easier for families to plan and enjoy the season.
