For over 35 years, the National Inventors Hall of Fame® has brought hands-on STEM experiences to K-6 students across the country through our flagship summer program. This weeklong camp sparks creativity and boosts confidence as campers tackle fun STEM challenges inspired by real-world inventors. Each year, Camp Invention delivers an all-new program to ignite the spirit of innovation.

This nationally acclaimed program is full of open-ended, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering and more! As campers collaborate to take on fun, hands-on challenges, they uncover their potential to become creators, innovators and entrepreneurs while building persistence and creative problem-solving skills. In our innovative program, Elevate, campers’ creativity will reach new heights as they explore everything from environmental conservation to robotics in four impactful experiences.

Camp Invention Flight Lab™

Campers are empowered to think big and aim high as they launch rockets, experiment with hand-copters and navigate planes through a rainstorm. After children take apart their very own customizable robot to see how it works, they bring their robot home at the end of the program!

Design Thinking Project™

Children learn the value of their creativity and become confident entrepreneurs as they learn how to design, build and sell their own inventions. Through hands-on challenges from real-life inventors, they’ll brainstorm, sketch, prototype, pitch and protect their biggest ideas.

Rescue Squad™

Campers team up and take on exciting challenges to protect the planet. As children experiment in a new habitat each day, they compete in zipline races, build prototypes to help wildlife, conserve electricity, eliminate pollution, play recycling games and use innovative parachutes to safely transport animals.

Camp Invention Champions™

Children learn about the amazing inventors behind their favorite sports while finding inspiration for their own game-changing ideas. They’ll play hover ball games with their friends, create mascots, trade inventor playing cards, and design and build the ultimate sports complex!
