Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Zoo New England’s ZooCamp is a summer program designed for youth passionate about wildlife and conservation, held at Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo. Participants explore animals and their habitats through interactive activities, diverse themes such as art, STEM, and storytelling, and direct contact with animal ambassadors. The camp serves children aged 4 to 14, organizing age-specific sessions including a special Jr. Zookeeper track to teach older campers about animal care and zoo operations. Extended care is offered for busy families, and tuition is based on a sliding scale, with scholarship opportunities to enhance inclusivity. The camp adheres to all health regulations and provides thorough communication regarding health and cancellation policies. Sessions run from June to August, mostly full-day except for a half-day option for the youngest group, offering a comprehensive, fun, and educational experience centered on wildlife and conservation.
