Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Youth Aviation Adventure and EAA youth programs focus on delivering aeronautical education to students from elementary through high school. Hosted by organizations such as OBAP, Tuskegee Airmen, Women in Flight, and the EAA Chapter 9, these programs provide STEM-related activities during after-school hours, weekends, and the summer. Based in central Ohio, and primarily held at The Ohio State University Airport, these events expose young participants to the world of aviation and offer experiential learning such as introductory flights with experienced pilots provided by EAA. Beyond the practical experiences, the airport’s community webpage offers supplemental materials and resources to further engage youth and families in aviation learning. The programs serve as a valuable platform for encouraging youth to explore aviation-related education pathways and career possibilities.
