The WV-INBRE Summer Research Internship offers a comprehensive nine-week research experience in biomedical sciences for graduate-level students from May 27 to July 29, 2025. Participants engage in mentored research across various biomedical fields at West Virginia University and Marshall University laboratories, benefiting from formal training, seminars, workshops, and advanced research resources. Interns must present their work at the annual symposium and receive a $6,000 stipend for the duration. Housing arrangements are the responsibility of the interns, with program support available. Eligible applicants are full-time students from member institutions of the WV-INBRE network (excluding WVU and Marshall) who have not graduated by August 2025. The application deadline is February 5, 2025, with a focus on encouraging diversity among applicants.
