WAAAM Camp

The WAAAM Camp offers a unique opportunity for children between 7 and 12 years old to dive into the world of early aviation over four days. Located at the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum, campers will build gliders to learn the principles of aerodynamics and use radio communication following FAA protocols, enhancing their public speaking and technical skills. The camp includes a hands-on restoration project displayed within the museum, cockpit experience, and an old Model T car ride. Participants will enjoy daily snacks and receive a special WAAAM t-shirt. Additionally, they earn a “Student Solo Membership” that allows unlimited free entry to the museum for the remainder of the year. Scheduled from July 28 to July 31, 2025, between 9 am and noon, this camp blends fun, education, and history into a memorable experience.
