Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Pre-Med Summer Scholar Program at UCLA is an intensive, educational summer experience tailored for high school-aged students interested in medicine. Through interactive workshops and expert talks, participants engage with multiple medical disciplines, including surgical skills, pathology, and healthcare provider panels. This hands-on program is structured to enrich students’ understanding of medical professions while helping them prepare for their future in healthcare. The program is fully in-person over five days, held at the UCLA Medical Center and related facilities, and requires participants to be US high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors aged 16 or older. It excludes residential facilities and transportation, focusing solely on the educational component.
