VetSummer Animal Camp DC

VetSummer Animal Camp DC offers an immersive educational experience for 12- to 17-year-olds passionate about animals and veterinary careers. Set at Trinity Washington University, the camp combines academic rigor in cutting-edge science laboratories with practical learning through hands-on veterinary workshops and engaging field trips, like visits to the Poplar Springs Animal Sanctuary. Students live on campus in a private, comfortable residence hall shared only with a sister program, fostering a strong community atmosphere. Daily activities include learning about animal care, veterinary science, and participating in team-building exercises, enrichened by fresh dining options that cater to various dietary needs. Evening outings allow campers to explore Washington DC’s cultural and historical spots, or relax in the residence halls.
