Vets & Pets Summer Camp

The Vets & Pets camp invites children with a passion for animals and an interest in veterinary fields to engage in a hands-on, educational experience. As a continuation of the Emergency Vet camp, it offers a comprehensive look at the roles of veterinary technicians and veterinarians. Campers participate in various activities, including pet visits, grooming, dog agility exercises, and learn about different types of working dogs through guest speakers. They also simulate running a vet’s office, practicing medical skills on stuffed animals. Creative fun is a big part of the experience, with projects such as making pet treats and toys, and creating animal-themed art. Sparks Ark brings exotic animals to the camp, adding to the excitement, along with demonstrations of dog agility. Children should come prepared for messy arts and science projects, hikes, and games by dressing in suitable clothing and bringing snacks and water.
