VCOM Virginia SEE STEM-H Camp

Offered at no cost, the SEE STEM-H Camp hosted by VCOM Virginia is designed to inspire high-achieving Virginia high school students interested in science and healthcare careers. Held during two weeks in June and July of 2025, the camp immerses attendees in hands-on medical education experiences. Activities include learning surgical skills such as suturing under the guidance of surgeons, engaging in realistic healthcare simulations, conducting biomedical experiments focusing on epidemiology, and collaborating on a research project for presentation. Located in a cutting-edge anatomy and simulation facility, this camp provides a dynamic educational experience. Accommodations, meals, and camp activities are fully covered, supporting equitable access. The program maintains a strict dress code to ensure safety and professionalism throughout the camp.
