Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Hosted by the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at UND, this International Aerospace Camp is a unique week designed for juniors and seniors interested in aviation careers. It provides an intensive introduction to aerospace, incorporating classroom learning with practical flying experiences and interaction with the latest technology such as flight simulators and an altitude chamber. Campers receive instruction from industry experts and university professors, covering areas including flight operations, air traffic control, and unmanned aircraft systems. Highlights include flying lessons in various aircraft, drone piloting through obstacle courses, and exposure to navigation and instrument flight rules. The camp is based on the university campus, featuring residence hall accommodations and access to advanced aerospace labs. Students leave the camp well-equipped with foundational knowledge and realistic experiences to support their pursuit of aerospace studies and careers.
