The UKMED Medical Education Development Program, managed by the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, is designed to attract rising juniors interested in medicine and strengthen their application profiles. Over the course of one week, participants interact closely with medical students and faculty to gain a realistic preview of medical school life and develop essential skills for pursuing medicine. This program places special emphasis on supporting students from communities facing healthcare challenges. It requires participants to reside on campus in dormitories and attend all activities from June 8 to June 13, 2025.
