Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
UCLA’s Pre-Med Enrichment Program (PREP) serves juniors, seniors, and recent graduates, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, aiming to prepare them for medical school and healthcare careers. This intensive summer program blends virtual and in-person learning, starting with an MCAT bootcamp followed by academic workshops, mentorship, and community-building activities. Participants enhance their understanding of physical and biological sciences through hands-on problem-based learning and engage in projects focused on health issues faced by underserved populations. The curriculum also includes professional development topics such as mental health awareness and navigating medical school life. Scholars benefit from personalized advisement and mentorship extending beyond the program’s duration to support their medical school application journey. The program spans from early July to mid-August 2025, with no tuition or application fees, and offers stipends and housing accommodations at UCLA dorms. PREP aims to nurture academically prepared, socially conscious future medical professionals ready to make meaningful contributions to healthcare.
