Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Held annually for over 15 years at Kirtland Air Force Base, the Tuskegee Airmen Summer Youth Aviation Camp welcomes middle and high school students nationwide. This enriching camp offers a wide range of aviation-related experiences, including in-depth tours of the 58th Special Operations Wing’s aircraft and facilities such as flight lines and maintenance hangars. Students are taught about airfield management, weather systems tracking, and career pathways in the Air Force by experienced military personnel. Notably, camp participants get the exceptional chance to pilot an aircraft themselves, which fosters a practical understanding of aviation careers. This program aims to inspire and educate youth about the aviation field and the opportunities within the United States Air Force.
