Triple Tree Aerodrome ACE Summer Camps

Located in the Upstate of South Carolina, Triple Tree Aerodrome hosts ACE Summer Camps to ignite passion in aviation among youth. These camps last four days and offer a hands-on experience that includes aviation workshops, ground school sessions, flight experiences, and seminars led by experienced instructors and professionals in the aviation field. Camps are offered for middle school students focusing on Radio Control aircraft and for high school students concentrating on General Aviation. Small class sizes ensure that each participant receives dedicated training and attention. The camp schedule runs from Monday to Thursday with Friday reserved as a backup rain day, from 9 am until 3 pm daily. Participants gain exposure to various aviation topics such as flight dynamics, navigation, and the use of drones and autonomous platforms. A fly-out opportunity in a general aviation plane is a highlight of the program. The camp fee includes all instructional materials, activities, a special camp T-shirt, and a graduation event with lunch. Families are invited to inquire about accommodation options at Triple Tree, including motorhome parking, to enhance the summer camp experience. Registration is open for 2025, offering sessions in June and July.
