Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Think Wild is excited to present a series of three week-long summer camps for , designed to immerse children in the diverse wildlife and habitats of Central Oregon. The camps cater to two age groups; Lower Elementary targeting incoming 1st through 3rd graders, and Upper Elementary tailored for incoming 4th through 6th graders. Lower Elementary camps emphasize themes such as beavers, birds, and wildlife rehabilitation and are offered twice with identical curricula in June and July. The Upper Elementary camp focuses on exploring various wildlife ecosystems through field trips. Camps are held daily from 9AM to 3PM with arrival between 8:30 and 9AM, hosted in a variety of local park picnic shelters. The cost is $325 per session, which covers a small registration fee, and financial aid is accessible. Capacity is limited to 20 children per session, ensuring focused attention. The program adapts to air quality issues with an indoor backup location, requires signed waivers, and does not include meals. Parents can secure spots or join the waitlist.
