Designed for rising 8th to 12th graders, The Citadel GenCyber Camp offers a comprehensive and fully-funded cybersecurity experience from June 2nd to June 6th, 2025. Hosted at The Citadel, students learn about various aspects of cybersecurity such as ethical hacking, system hardening, and encryption through lectures and hands-on activities. The camp also includes virtual pre-camp sessions in early May to prepare campers for the week ahead. Meals are provided throughout the camp day, which runs from drop-off in the morning before 9 a.m. until pick-up shortly after 3:45 p.m. Supported by NSF and NSA grants, this free program strives to inspire young students to pursue interests in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity.
