Texas Tech Health El Paso Summer Medical Camp

The Summer Medical Camp at Texas Tech Health El Paso is a two-week immersive program designed for high school students passionate about pursuing careers in health care. Capped at 30 participants per camp, it provides interactive sessions with medical professionals, educational field trips, and unique learning experiences like a mock crime scene investigation. Additional components include financial aid guidance and a reality store exercise to teach students about managing expenses. Conducted on the university campus, the camp fosters connections and learning through collaboration with local high school advisors in El Paso. Students attend daily sessions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., gaining valuable exposure to the medical field in a supportive environment.
