Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Designed specifically for teenagers aged 13 to 18, Tennessee Pilot Camp offers a dynamic summer camp experience focused on aviation education and flight training. This one-week camp, hosted at multiple airports throughout Tennessee, provides participants with immersive, hands-on training that combines practical flight experience with STEM-based learning. Campers enjoy up to two hours of flight instruction in a real airplane from FAA certified instructors, alongside an hour of simulator training in a certified flight simulator. The curriculum includes detailed ground school sessions covering topics such as aerodynamics, communication protocols, air traffic control, weather, safety, and navigation using aviation maps. Beyond skills development, the camp encourages camaraderie among peers sharing a passion for aviation. At a cost of $999, campers receive all materials required for the program, including educational books, maps, and a camp t-shirt. The week is structured from introductory lessons on Monday to actual flight experiences on Friday, providing a thorough and engaging pathway to discovering the world of flying.
