Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Susquehanna STEM to the Skies Aviation Camp offers a unique opportunity for high school students entering grades 9-12 to explore the world of aviation through STEM education. Held at the Penn Valley Airport in Selinsgrove, PA, this four-day camp from June 9th to June 12th operates daily from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Participants engage in a curriculum covering aerodynamics, flight planning, air traffic control, navigation, aircraft engines, and maintenance. Campers will build robots and jet engine models, experience flying a full-motion aviation simulator, and hear from a Geisinger Life Flight pilot, nurse, and EMT about their careers. With a small group size limited to 12 students, the camp ensures personalized instruction and ample hands-on learning opportunities. A refundable $25 fee covers the cost, and lunch is provided each day. This program is open to students residing in designated Pennsylvania counties and seeks to fuel a passion for aviation and STEM fields.
