Sun Valley Community School’s Upper School Summer Programs provide comprehensive opportunities for students to grow academically and personally. The College Admission Prep sessions help 12th graders tackle college essay writing and application completion in small, focused groups, equipping them with the skills needed for successful admissions. At the same time, the Outdoor Education White Otter Adventures program is a thrilling hands-on kayaking experience for youth aged 12 to 18, featuring expert-led instruction on Idaho’s Salmon River. Participants engage in camping, develop confidence, and learn whitewater kayaking techniques within a supportive, fun environment with nutritious meals throughout. These summer programs aim to boost students’ educational readiness and outdoor skills, making summer both productive and memorable.
