At the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) presents an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students nationwide to engage in meaningful summer research in biomedical sciences, bioengineering, epidemiology, public health, and biostatistics. The program equips participants with hands-on experience, enhancing their academic and professional development. Awardees receive a $3,500 stipend and comfortable housing options close to campus for the program duration. The selection and placement start early February with ongoing admissions until mid-April. SPUR strongly welcomes applications from community college students and international students studying in the U.S. on F1 visas, promoting diversity and broad participation across the scientific community.
