Summer of Community Health Exploration Academy (SOCHEA)

SOCHEA is a week-long summer academy aimed at giving teenagers from Pima County exposure to careers in the healthcare field. The program highlights the functions of health professionals working in community health center environments and incorporates opportunities for college readiness. Students also get to explore various university and college campuses, participate in team-building exercises, and connect with like-minded peers. This program is designed to nurture the next generation of health professionals by providing practical experiences and peer engagement in a supportive community.
