Summer Learning 2025

In 2025, Summer Learning is providing diverse programs designed to extend academic support, enrichment, and career readiness for students across Hawai‘i. Schools design their unique programs to fit students’ needs, with offerings ranging from virtual high school courses via Hawai‘i Technology Academy to a summer reading initiative available to students and families. The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa College of Education hosts courses for elementary through middle school students, focusing on nature, technology, and the arts to foster enthusiasm for learning. High school juniors and seniors can participate in a complimentary six-week CTE Academy at Honolulu Community College, and young teens across multiple islands can join the Project Hokulani summer camps, which require an application by specific dates. These comprehensive programs ensure a summer rich with learning, exploration, and development opportunities tailored to a wide age range of students.
