Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Designed to enrich the educational experiences of Minnesota youth, the Summer Academic Enrichment Program offers financial assistance for qualified students in grades 3 to 11 to attend participating academic camps during the summer of 2025. Eligible participants must reside in Minnesota and meet income requirements demonstrated through documentation such as free or reduced lunch eligibility or tax returns. Older students (grades 7-11) should maintain at least a C average in related subjects. The program grants stipends up to $1,000 to offset costs of summer programs. Interested students apply directly to accredited camps, which then submit stipend applications to the program. Hosted by an assortment of sponsors, including colleges and non-profits, the program provides a variety of summer educational experiences covering topics like debate, health careers, language, and the arts, ensuring students can pursue camps that align with their interests and academic goals.
