Students to Startups Program

The Students to Startups Program is a summer internship running from May to August that pairs University of Alaska students with Alaskan startup companies. Participants learn key entrepreneurial and startup skills such as design thinking, startup funding, intellectual property, customer discovery, path to market strategies, and pitching. Students apply their learned knowledge on real startup projects while expanding their capabilities and networks through guest lectures and interactions with Alaskan entrepreneurs. The program is open for student applications for the 2026 summer session.
