Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Stephenson Cancer Center runs multiple educational summer initiatives targeting high school and undergraduate students keen on careers in science and medicine. One such is CURE Jr., a one-day program introducing high school students to cancer research through interactive activities. For older students, BRIDGE offers an 8-week hands-on training experience in medical research laboratories. YES Oklahoma caters specifically to Native American students, imparting both college credits and practical lab training. BE4NANO encourages engagement with bionanotechnology among high school juniors. For undergraduates, the 9-week CURE program promotes experiential learning in cancer research under the guidance of seasoned investigators. These varied programs foster skill-building, networking, and in-depth understanding of biomedical sciences and oncology.
