The Equine Veterinary Science Camp at St. Andrews University is a unique educational opportunity for high school students set to graduate in 2026 or 2027 interested in equine veterinary careers. This week-long program integrates practical experience with the university’s Veterinarian-in-Residence, working in both the state-of-the-art science lab and the equestrian facilities over a vast 300-acre center. Campers study key aspects of equine health such as dentistry, cardiology, ophthalmology, and overall wellness, alongside trips to local wildlife sites. Designed as a non-riding experience, the camp offers a demonstrated 40-plus hours of clinical practice and runs from June 22-28, . The $1500 tuition can be paid upfront or in two parts by early June. Due to limited spaces, applicants must apply by May 1, , submitting recommendations and transcripts for evaluation, with selections announced by mid-May.
