During the summer, Southeast Technical College provides career exploration camps targeted at middle and high school students, allowing them to gain valuable exposure to fields like construction, horticulture, healthcare, engineering, and trades. These programs include not only learning experiences but also paid work opportunities, fostering career readiness. Southeast Tech also offers an extensive summer course selection with close to 150 classes available between May and July, enabling students to complete credits for fall enrollment, transfer, or program continuation. Registration support and advising services are available for new and returning students. The summer career academies provide hands-on experience in selected industries to help students build skills and explore various career options closely. These opportunities are provided in partnership with regional collaborators and are perfect for students interested in gaining insight into potential future professions.
