Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Sitka Fine Arts Campโs High School session is an immersive, two-week program focusing on the arts for students in grades 9 through 12. Participants have the opportunity to engage in more than 60 classes covering disciplines such as theater, dance, music, creative writing, visual arts, digital arts, and Alaska Native arts. The camp supports both day and dorm students, creating a diverse community from various regions. Beyond class time, the camp offers recreational activities including sports and open mic nights, with faculty-led performances every evening, fostering a vibrant artistic environment. An outdoor day mid-session allows campers to explore the natural landscape of Sitka. The program concludes with public showcases including theatrical and dance performances, visual art exhibitions, and musical events held at the Sitka Performing Arts Center, highlighting the talents cultivated during camp.
