Scrubs Camp provides a unique one-day immersion in healthcare careers for high school students entering grades 9-12. Students engage with experienced healthcare workers and participate in interactive activities such as medical simulations and exploring new medical technology. This camp offers a look behind the scenes at what healthcare professionals do regularly, highlighting the demands and benefits of working in the sector. It aims to prepare and inspire students considering healthcare as a future career, with locations available throughout western South Dakota including Rapid City and Spearfish. Alongside Scrubs Camp, additional summer camps like Nursing Career Exploration and biomedical engineering camps further support students’ exposure to health-related fields.
