Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Designed for first-year medical students and postgraduates, the Ross Student Research Internship offers a comprehensive 9-week experience combining clinical practice and research. Interns engage directly in the clinical setting by shadowing rounds, trauma resuscitations, and surgical procedures, while also attending educational conferences. The research aspect includes instruction in designing research studies, statistical methods, ethical training, data collection, and culminating in formal presentations of their work. Participants have opportunities for scholarly growth with co-authorships on publications. The program emphasizes practical learning and academic contribution in the fields of surgery and trauma, with a deadline for application submissions on February 28, 2025. Past interns have successfully showcased their research nationally and contributed to scientific literature.
