Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
These two aviation-focused summer camps offer immersive one-week programs that blend science, math, and flight experiences to ignite young students’ interest in aviation. The first camp targets 4th to 7th graders, focusing on the principles of rocket and aircraft flight through interactive lectures and hands-on activities such as rocket building and launches, as well as aircraft design projects. Each student concludes the week with an airplane ride. The second camp serves 6th to 12th graders with an introduction to aircraft and flying basics. Campers spend half their day in classroom theory and the rest gaining practical flight experience with a professional instructor. Camps take place at Plainwell and Miller-Sparta Municipal Airports, culminating in a family event where siblings and friends can enjoy Young Eagle flights. These camps blend education with fun to build foundational skills in aviation and inspire future careers in flight.
