The Rhode Island Department of Education facilitates diverse summer learning opportunities through multiple collaborative programs. Learn365RI and Math Matters extend educational access, particularly in mathematics, for elementary and middle school children by combining efforts from local government, education providers, and community groups. The All Course Network enriches student experiences by providing no-cost summer courses to PK–12 students, both online and in physical settings, including credit courses for high school students. The 21st Century Community Learning Centers operate in partnership with community organizations to support ongoing academic and enrichment activities throughout the summer. Meanwhile, the District Summer Learning Network offers tailored support to school districts to create sustainable, student-centered summer programs that address both educational needs and social-emotional well-being. Families benefit from coordinated registration and lottery processes to participate in these varied offerings.
