The PreFlight Aviation Camp offers an enriching environment for girls between 11 and 14 to explore aviation and STEM fields through dynamic and interactive experiences. Operated by a nonprofit organization, the camp equips campers with the skills and confidence necessary to pursue their dreams in aviation by engaging them in activities like flight simulation and actual flights led by experienced female pilots. The program’s mission is to empower girls, challenge societal gender norms, and ignite a passion for piloting and related careers. It is a day camp lasting six days, with sessions held in Loveland, CO, and San Antonio, TX, reinforcing community and mentorship.
