Hosted by UT Tyler School of Medicine, the Pre-Med Camp is a no-cost summer camp that equips economically disadvantaged rising high school juniors and seniors from East Texas with valuable insights into medical school admissions and career preparation. Participants gain hands-on clinical and research exposure, shadow local physicians, and engage with medical students and simulated patients. The five-day program also features a resource fair showcasing colleges and universities associated with JAMP. The camp is intended to foster readiness for medical careers and runs from July 14-18, 2025, with selections announced by the end of April.
