UMass Amherst’s Pre-College program invites high school students to discover their academic passions during the summer by participating in unique faculty-led programs. Offering more than 25 topic options ranging from STEM to the arts, these intensives provide a taste of college life and rigorous academic experiences. Students can also join six-week research intensive labs with active faculty in innovative fields. Along with summer programs, participants have access to online and on-campus college preparation workshops designed to equip them with necessary skills for successful college admissions. Both residential and online formats are available to accommodate different needs.
