The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum’s Summer Flight School provides an engaging week for children in grades 6-8 to delve into aviation through extensive STEM learning. Students explore flight dynamics, atmospheric and weather studies, and the history of Hawaiian aviation. Hands-on experiences include flight simulators and addressing aviation-related challenges, enhanced by insights from aviation experts. The program culminates in a winging ceremony to celebrate the students’ achievements. For younger children in grades 3-5, there is the 5-day Explorers Club focused on incorporating multiple STEM disciplines through interactive experiments. The camp fee includes meals and a merchandise t-shirt, delivering a well-rounded, fun, and educational summer camp experience focused on aviation discovery.
