Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
PAWS Education hosts summer mini camps aimed at middle and high school students keen on animal welfare and wildlife issues. Participants engage in interactive learning and community service projects that positively impact both the PAWS sanctuary animals and their communities. Each camp incorporates fun activities like games, exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, and opportunities to meet dogs up close. Camp topics cover critical issues such as pet overpopulation, the importance of spaying and neutering, basics of pet care, and how to safely interact with wildlife. For high schoolers, a special roleplaying game camp offers a creative way to tackle wildlife conservation problems. The camps focus on experiential learning, fostering both education and community involvement.
