This summer program at Oregon State University offers a unique veterinary experience for high school juniors and seniors who excel academically and show a strong interest in veterinary fields. Tailored to provide immersive, practical exposure, the OSU Summer Veterinary Experience encourages diverse participation by providing financial assistance to those who might otherwise be unable to attend, including first-generation college students and students from underrepresented cultural backgrounds. Held on the OSU Corvallis campus, this overnight summer camp fosters both learning and community among aspiring veterinary students, helping them cultivate the skills and knowledge needed for advanced education and career pathways in veterinary medicine.
