Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The OMRF Summer Scholar Programs are designed to foster the development of promising students in Oklahoma through immersive research opportunities. Students gain practical experience by working with experienced mentors on cutting-edge biomedical research projects, including studies in genetics and disease biology. The Fleming Scholars Program accommodates high school seniors and undergraduates for an eight-week research internship. Meanwhile, the Langston Biomedical Research Program partners with Langston University to give its students a paid summer internship and ongoing research opportunities. Military academy cadets participate in the John H. Saxon Service Academy Program, gaining a rigorous month-long research experience at OMRF, ending with a presentation of their findings. These initiatives collectively aim to cultivate scientific talent and support career pathways in the research field.
