This summer program in newborn medicine offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience in a clinical setting through an intensive eight-week program. Sponsored by the Harvard Program in Neonatology and affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the program combines observation in neonatal care units with active participation in various research projects, including laboratory and epidemiological studies. Students benefit from regular educational conferences and personalized mentorship from expert faculty and fellows.
