Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
NC State University’s College of Engineering offers a series of enriching summer residential camps designed specifically for rising juniors and seniors in high school. These residential camps provide students the opportunity to immerse themselves in an engineering discipline of their choice while experiencing a taste of college life by residing on-campus at NC State in Raleigh. Over the course of a week, campers participate in daily workshops led by faculty and engineering students, supplemented by group activities and social events. Each camper gains hands-on experience through innovative projects spanning a range of engineering fields from biomedical engineering to textile engineering and more. Meals are provided in campus dining facilities, and counselors supervise evening activities. The camp not only fosters technical skills and knowledge but also encourages teamwork and peer connections. Parents can join the closing ceremony on Friday. The camp costs $1,500, and financial assistance is offered for qualifying families. Applications are competitive, with multiple workshop choices enhancing admission chances.
